KUCHING: The Blood Bank of the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) yesterday appealed to the public to come forward and donate blood to ensure continuous and sufficient supply of the item at the hospital.
According to its press statement, the public may seek assistance from the Blood Donation counter at SGH from Monday till Friday starting at 8am until 4.30pm daily.
Meanwhile its Mobile Unit will be moving around town this coming weekend towards the cause.
On Saturday the Mobile Unit will send teams to UiTM Sarawak campus and to Boulevard Shopping mall here. They will be at these places from 9am to 2pm. The campaign at Boulevard is jointly organised by SGH and Che Hui Khor Moral Uplifting Society.
On Sunday the team will be at the lower ground of Wisma Saberkas from 9.30am to 2.30pm. The I-Kuan Tao group is coorganising it with SGH.
Another unit will operate at Fatt Lung Tang premises, Batu 10 Jalan Penrissen from 9.30am to 1pm on Sunday.
